The Fremantle Technical School building, also known as the Fremantle Technical College building, stood tall at the corner of South Terrace and Essex Street in Fremantle.
However, as time passed, the building began to show its age, and it was in dire need of renovation to bring it back to its former glory. The challenge was to restore the building while maintaining its historic character and preserving its unique design.
The project team knew that they needed a solution that could help them achieve these objectives while also ensuring that the renovation work was efficient and cost-effective. After much research and consideration, they decided that 3D BIM modelling was the best solution for the project.
Using 3D BIM modelling technology, VMS was able to create a detailed virtual model of the building. This allowed them to identify potential issues and find solutions before construction began.
